3Space Croydon & Wimbledon

Home for the grassroots-led Croydon Tech City inside a former government office

3Space delivered the Cabinet Office's Space for Growth program across 2 sites and 25,000 sq ft in Wimbledon and Croydon from December 2013 to February 2016.

With the aim of getting more use out of the government's empty buildings, 3Space opened both sites as co-working spaces for start-ups and non-profits.

The large open plan floor plates at both properties allowed for collaboration between a broad spectrum of organisations with meeting rooms, communal areas, 3D printing, talks, events, workshops and theatre.

Both spaces acted as a launchpad to more established office providers in the area, providing a low risk, no commitment workspace for the first stages of a company’s lifecycle.

In Southern House Croydon 3Space was home to many of the start-ups that made up Croydon Tech City and the building hosted several of their events.
