3Space Blackfriars

40,000 sq ft social enterprise hub on Victorian Embankment, and now the new home for Nesta

Audit House on Victoria Embankment was previously the Employment Appeals Tribunal. When that was relocated to nearby Salisbury Square, FORE Partnership bought the site with a view to developing the building as Grade A office.

During the Planning Permission process 3Space managed the activation of the building and quickly had it up to speed with a range of uses. Many organisations such as Foodcycle, Engineers Without Borders and Good Gym used the space as their main office and it also hosted a variety of exhibitions, plays and performances.

During this period 3Space also hosted a 3 day event, called the Re:Think festival which consisted of 50 organisations running workshops, panels, exhibitions and interactive experiences - everything from hands-on, collaborative art with 21 Artists, to town planning workshops with This Big City and getting the low-down on guerrilla gardening from the Edible Bus Stop.

Since being redeveloped by FORE Partnership the building has been bought by NESTA who recently relocated their HQ to the site.
